VOSA check for change of vehicle type

At the end of May, Daisy went to the VOSA Test Centre at Bishopbriggs for inspection to change the body type from Panel Van to Motorcaravan. The inspector checked the inside of Daisy to make sure she was a motorcaravan. He then checked the gas container. She flied through the inspection. Our inspector was really nice and put us at ease!.

Below you will see Daisy at the VOSA Test Centre. One photograph shows the inspector.

Cashel

For the first weekend in May, we decided to travel to Cashel Campsite. This would allow us to test Daisy out.
Cashel is a campsite on the Bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. It is run by the forestry comission. It had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. All toilets and shower blocks were very clean and the staff were very friendly.
This weekend allowed Barry and I to plan out the small things in Daisy like, where to store the table, bin and sleeping bag when we were not using them. We were able to test out the 240 volt power, it worked like a dream. It also allowed us to gauge how much water we would use and how many times we would need to empty the cassette toilet. This would allow us to see how long we could wildcamp for.
Bruno had a great time paddling in the Loch and streams. He loved sitting in the van staring out at people. Boxers are really nosy animals!.

Below are a couple of photographs of the weekend trip to Cashel.
